Your referral gives the doctor an outline of your Medical history and the reason for your visit. It is also a requirement of Medicare that a referral is presented, at the time of your consulation, from either a General Practioner or another Specialist. Providing our practice with a valid referral will mean that you will be able to obtain a rebate from Medicare for a portion of the doctor's fee.

For an appointment with A/Prof Caroline Dowling at Malvern Hill Consulting, private health insurance with hospital cover is required. Alternative locations for urological appointments are available in the public sector for patients who do not hold private health insurance with hospital cover.
